MTRSD Enrichment Programs
Serving Mohawk Trail Regional School District students in grades 3–6.
Message from the Program Director
Welcome to our after school program!
My name is Alia Woofenden, but everyone calls me “Mrs. Woof.” I have been working with children for the past 10 years for a number of nonprofits and public schools helping to create safe and fun outdoor programs for all ages. I am a parent, a certified elementary school teacher, and environmental educator.
I look forward to providing our community with fun and educational after school opportunities for Mohawk Trail Regional School District students!
Philosophy & Goals
We understand families need reliable, safe, and fun after school activities. Mohawk Trail Regional School District (MTRSD) Enrichment Programs give children an opportunity to socialize with peers in a structured after-school setting. Our programs encourage leadership skills, community building, and individual growth.
Our goal is to provide fun, educational, and developmentally appropriate programming for Mohawk Trail Regional School District students at an affordable price.
MTRSD Enrichment Programs are open to all students in the district currently enrolled in grades 3–6. We provide daily transportation from district elementary schools to Mohawk Trail Regional School at no cost to our families. Program pick-up is 5:30 p.m. at Mohawk Trail Regional School.
To enroll, parents/guardians must fill out an enrollment form and transportation consent form before a child can attend the program.
*MTRSD Enrichment Programs are not open during school vacations, snow days, or early release days due to inclement weather.
MTRSD Enrichment Program Staff
Along with the program director, the program is led by an MTRSD After Care Head Teacher and program assistants.
Many of our program assistants are Mohawk Trail Regional High School students who serve as mentors and positive role models for our participants.

About the Hilltown Scout Camp:
This program is run by MTRSD After Care Program Director Alia Woofenden. Mrs. Woof has worked for summer camp programs throughout western Massachusetts for many years and created the Hilltown Scout Camp program in 2019. Lead Teacher Ezra Greenfield has many years of experience working as an art instructor in camps in eastern Massachusetts. Together they skillfully combine science, nature, and art into fun camp programs. In addition, MTRS students often serve as camp assistants. All camp staff are subject to CORI and fingerprinting and receive camp training.
